WERE WE ARE

The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano
and Valdobbiadene

 Unesco Heritage

The main feature of this hilly landscape located in the

north-east of Italy, are the rows of vines that can still

be worked only by hand. This territory represents the

exceptional result of the interaction between man

and environment, shaped through the years by agriculture

in an almost symbiotic relastionship between

man and nature.

The mosaic-like landscape is characterized by
small vineyards on the hogbacks that coexist with

corners of forest, small woods, hedges

and rows of trees.

The Story

A Passion That Originates From Afar

Federico Ricci since childhood has always been passionate

about agriculture and animal husbandry. Following in the footsteps

of his winemaker grandfather and farmer father.

Growing up among vineyards and wineries, Federico later developed

and matured his vision of what is now “UDO” with work experience

in Australia and France at major wineries.

The name “UDO” is short for Udorico,

affectionate family nickname from

Federico’s childhood.

THE GARDEN

Diversity

The Key Element for Sustainable Agriculture

With this principle in mind the farm includes vineyards,

apricot trees, olive trees, meadows and woods.

In our crops we use useful insects for pollination and make

use of active defense methods such as sexual confusion,

insects nets and rain screens in order to have fruit

that is beautiful, tasty and at the same time

healthy and nutritious.
